Interpreting Success

The pursuit of success exists in how far you can run through failure.

It’s all in the mind. Our mind is the nucleus of everything. It controls our thoughts, beliefs and helps us form a perception.  Everywhere we go, from shops to offices, we see people with different attitudes and perspectives. We all walk the same path but form dissimilar views. The circumstances we face in life help us explore opportunities and find the silver lining in every situation. Individuals have the proficiency to succeed but everyone can’t just augur well.

Success is attained when one is offered with a favourable or desirable outcome. It is characterised by various forms because it’s personal definition varies from person to person. Collecting trophies and medals, making money, a new research, winning a match, a mission accomplished – are few forms of individual success. It depends on what one is seeking in life or career for that matter. Losing weight, playing an instrument, scoring high marks in the exam, making profit in business are all different goals set by different people. Be it parents or children, doctors or teachers, engineers or athletes, everyone’s understanding and the perception about success is as abundant as there are stars in the sky.

Also, success cannot be accomplished by measuring through standards of an individual or the society. We idolize celebrities, athletes, famous personalities and end up comparing ourselves to them. It leaves one with a fragmented mind and a feeling of emptiness in life. Believing in your own strengths would definitely lead the path to success.

A focused mindset will always let our abilities and talent develop over time. One introspects life as a series of challenges and merciless while the other considers life to be a channel of discoveries and innovation. Honestly, it’s best to think of life rationally. Certain parts are just as good as they are difficult. Since life is not designed to be easy and smooth, only determination merged with intense hard work can breed success. Remember, nothing is offered on the salver. Success is achieved only when one realises the dream, the soul rejoices, and the strengths and abilities are manifested in all glory.
